This quote from Herbert Spencer back in 1882! And lets just say that I don't think anyone has listened. And as much as the benefits of meditation, relaxation, and mindfulness are scientifically validated, the culture still revolves around working long and hard. Therefore its not surprising that most people end up falling ill as a result of the high stress in their lives.

What do you think would happen if we all slowed down some more? And what if no one worked more than their "working hours" that they are contracted to work? And how would you feel if you didn't check your email after you left work/signed off for the day?

I challenge you to just slow down a tad and listen to your body. And let's all, as a collective, learn to incorporate more self-care and just relax a bit more. What do you think?
